The Fox and Hounds Pub

The Fox and Hounds is next to Bishops gate of Windsor Great Park, about a mile from the college (20 mins walk). A further 20 minute walk into the Great Park can get you to Smiths lawn in one direction or the "Copper Horse" in the other. The "Copper Horse" is on snow hill which has a view of Windsor and Windsor Castle. The ambitious might like to walk the 3 miles to Windsor Castle down the Long Walk. There is a good pub very near the other end (The Two Brewers). There is a bus from Windsor which passes the college if you dont fancy the walk back.

The Wheatsheaf

• A little further, but worth the Journey, picturesque views of the Lake, and good pub food.

• Edwins is a restaurant in the opposite direction from the college to Egham. It is on the edge of Windsor Great Park so a visit to Edwins can be combined with a pre or post dinner walk to Smiths lawn polo ground. They serve good quality British food.
