Research towards the degree of PhD is offered in the projects covered by the research interests of the Centre for Particle Physics at RHUL. Admissions are open for research on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) ATLAS experiment at CERN, and for research towards the development of future accelerators. With data-taking about to start, now is definitely an exciting time to join our ATLAS programme.
Funding for studentships from the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC ) and from RHUL is available to work in these areas. In addition, funding for EU PhD candidates is also available for projects on accelerator research within the Marie-Curie DITANET network. The studentships are available for entry in October 2008. | ||||||||
