Fitting

  • Check that the functions are normalised
  • Try to find out why the errors were large
  • see which of the spectral lines are towards the edge of the frame and which are towards the centre
  • Plot the depth of each line compared to the continuum

Errors

  • retake data , wait for the lamp to warm up
  • Plot the intensity to check when the lamp is stable
