  • Remove rain cover
  • open doom doors (bolt, ropes, door)
  • Remove telescope caps
  • Switch on telescope power
  • Telescope takes GPS fix
  • Automatically moves west
  • h = LST - \alpha = 1:36:45 LST - 5:17:58(Capella) ~ -3:41:0
  • Centred capella in finders scope speed 5
  • Synchronise coordinates on Capella ( object -> star -> named -> Capella -> Enter (2 seconds) -> Enter to sync)
  • Opened MaxIm DL
  • Connected camera and set exposure time to 0.1 second 4 binning
  • selected new target in subframe exposure time 1 second 1 binning
  • put into focus mode and adjusted focus using north and south based on maximum
  • centered Haedus speed 5 and 7
  • took multiple exposures between 0.1 and 1.5 seconds in steps of 0.1 seconds
  • observed blooming 1.5 seconds maximum pixel value 55000
  • saturation point 65000
  • took 10 images at exposure 0.4 to observe the flux but reached saturation point due to cloud coverage
  • took another 10 images at exposure 0.2 that had maximum pixel value around 30000
