  • Metric version with M6, 1 thread/mm. 25.4 TPI. Ratio between M6 and 1/4"-20-UNC is 1.27. So 290mm/1.27=228.34 mm from hinge (with same rotation rate as in article)
  • Straw along hinge for polar alignment
