TrialPoisson5Star.png5 stars, Poisson, but not variation in Stot.

Tried to perform for more stars and bigger canvas - but was taking a long time - need to restructure code.

For next week - adding variation in correlation coefficient - not all stars will be the same perfectly round shape in a true photo.

Star Field Simulation

Attempted two things this week:
- Variations in brightness of star
- Statistical Fluctuations

Stot was uniformly distributed over a chosen maximum, this gives some variation between the stars. Below is an image of 50 stars with Stot uniformly distributed.

Next step: Add statistical fluctuations. Estimate n using expected values as plotted above using Poisson distribution.

For next week - adding variation in correlation coefficient - not all stars will be the same perfectly round shape in a true photo.
