Detector 1 (laserwire location)

  • Hamamatsu PMTs, same as old laserwire one
  • PMT in nu-metal box
  • aerogel: SP15, index 1.015, 4 slices, 4 cm^2, 5 cm deep
  • light pipe 10 cm^2
  • head depth (to first angle): 5 cm
  • straight: 30 cm
  • front to PMT: 57 cm
  • lead front: 5x5cm , 3mm depth

Detector 2 (after QF9AFF and SK4FF)

  • Hamamatsu PMT R877
  • PMT in nu-metal box
  • 90 mm diameter aperture to PMT (needed for construction and protection of PMT)
  • aerogel: same as detector 1, 5 slices, 5x4cm, 5 cm deep
  • light pipe 10 cm^2
  • head depth: 19 cm
  • front to PMT: 70 cm
  • lead front: 5x5cm , 3mm depth
