Idea|Implemented hardware|software improvements.

System integration

  1. Boot VME system from new linux computer notes
  2. Calibration tone, split into diode and reference electronics (testing diode reconstruction)
  3. Ciculator and phase shifter to ping cavity and get decay time etc
  4. csy module for switching calibration tones
  5. Cal tone for S-band system
  6. Remove OWIS cards and move VME cards to the left

Software

  1. bpmProcessedServer/bpmProcessor all work on cbpm-lsx
  2. caRepeater in startup script not needed with all IoCs on different machines
  3. Automatic code restart (cron?) Is this needed?
  4. Saturation correction code
  5. T0 correction code
  6. Single button switch between beam and calibration tone
  7. Reference EDM displays
  8. Diode EDM displays
  9. Status PV per BPM (nolo, nocal, uncal, refsat, dipsat, allsat, undef, t0err, ok)
  10. Warning system
  11. Tune up all cavities script (calibration tone)
  12. Improve calibration so large signal is obtained when BPM is moved
  13. Add calibration script to EDM
  14. Change all temp and LO PVs to match BPMs
  15. Python -> EDM to switch to cal mode
  16. Add temp/LO to archiver
  17. Integrate temp/LO into BPM display
  18. SQL database for calibration data, reference orbit data, etc
  19. SVD calibration of mover/non-mover BPMs
  20. Debug log data EDM button
  21. Store data button
  22. C-band RF electronics readbacks
  23. Consistent EDM displays
  24. EPICS control of S-Band attenuators and amplifiers
  25. Orbit calculation for non-mover BPMs
  26. Self describing data format
  27. Corrector calibration code
  28. Simulation mode (single BPM or whole system?)

Analysis

  1. determine base line parameters for all cavities before operations 0910
  2. Improve IQ rotation code
  3. Insert mover flips

Tests

  1. EDM/Control from atfcc computers
  2. Automation (cron) system tests

Basic measurements

  1. Cavity basic RF measurements
  2. Electronics basic measurements
  3. Digitizer measurements
  4. Cal tone coupling

House keeping (Alex + Stew in KEK)

  1. Move C-band electronics from Eel's bedroom
  2. AWG via cbpm-win GPIB?
  3. NIM 100 MHz amplifier
  4. Check broken NIM bin
  5. Install RF source
  6. Move nanosun into racks

For Doug (emailed!)

  1. Level Cband cal tone
  2. Dawn VME serial/network interace
  3. Ask about circulators/phase shifters
  4. Engineering units for temperature and LO
  5. Remove attenuators

For Stew

  1. Get Sband circulators and phase shifters
  2. Remind Honda about RF measurements
