Metrology Reports

Simulation Results

  • Simulations of the two cavities were performed using the measured dimensions.
  • In OMEGA3P and MWS the resonant frequency of the position cavity drops by 15 MHz compared with the nominal dimensions.
  • The loaded Q is virtually unchanged.
  • For the reference cavity the resonant frequency drops by more than 300 MHz and the loaded Q by 160.
  • A new reference cavity part wil be manufactured.
