Travel to RHUL
Royal Holloway is situated about 20 miles south west of London, near Egham and M25 junction 13.
The nearest train station is Egham and the nearest airport is London Heathrow.
- If you need a taxi, recommended local companies include:
- Gemini 01784 471111
- Thames Cars 01784 479999
- Ronia Mini Cabs 01784 464510
- For travel by taxi to/from the airport, pre-booking with a local company is much cheaper than taking a black cab from the taxi rank. Should be around £18 (T45) to £22 (T13).
- Buses from Heathrow airport: trip takes 40-50 mins in good traffic and buses run about twice per hour. No. 71 serves terminal 5, 441 for terminals 1 & 3 (central bus station) and 5. Both stop directly outside RHUL.
- As our meeting is outside term time the college bus service between Egham station and the RHUL campus will be running only a limited service. Tickets cost £1 and can be purchased from the driver. Alternatively, it's about a 20 minute walk.
- Note that the entrance for cars is on the A30 and the exit is on Bakeham Lane.
- Parking on campus: you are free to park in any marked parking space. No permit is required. Do use marked spaces to avoid the risk of clamping. Car parks are shown on the campus plan.
- Get public transport and car directions to RHUL from Transport Direct
- If you would like any specific travel advice please email Carmela & Pedro. See below for contact details.
