If you're looking to learn Geant4 (Geometry & Tracking) software, then the materials of a recent workshop are online.

Slides are here and the tutorials are here. The tutorials have worked examples that either work out of the box or require editing only a few lines of code. These are a great starting point should you wish to simulate something simple in Geant4.
