Hey, my name is Jacobo Blanco although English-speakers call me Jacob or Jay, its just much easier. I currently hold a summer placement in the Particle Physics group under the supervision of Dr. Teixeira-Dias. At the moment I am utilizing the Athena package version 14.5.0 to generate and analyze Fermiophobic Higgs events. During term-time I am a full-time MSci Physics student at RHUL going into my 4rd year. In the past I have worked under the supervision of Prof. Blair and Dr. Bosco performing Laser Beam Diagnostics as part of the R&D of a fast-scanner for the laser-wire project.
I am mainly interested in Particle Physics (Yes you guessed it) but I also have a keen interest in cosmology, relativity, quantum mechanics, mathematics and in my spare time I like to tinker with computers and software.Some Info
