RHUL Physicists ready for LHC startup

The official start date of the LHC is 10th September 2008. It will be covered live on BBC Radio 4 and a live webcast from CERN.

Particle Physicists from Royal Holloway are involved in the ATLAS experiment which expects to detect the first beam as it passes through. RHUL staff and students are based at CERN or have recently visited to help with the final preparations for the start up. Read more.
