My Project
I am looking at the phenomenology of the Standard Model and selected Beyond SM scenarios. Currently I am learning how to make accurate predictions for
LHC experiments and how to develop search observables that allow to optimally discriminate between different models. Important aspects will be to exploit and improve data-driven estimation methods and to use kinematical characteristics of models to delineate the underlying physics. This should ultimately help to increase the discovery potential and sensitivity to new physics for search channels involving jets, leptons and missing transverse energy at the
LHC.
