My Project
I am looking at the phenomenology of the Standard Model at hadron colliders. Currently I am learning how to make accurate predictions for
LHC experiments and how to develop search observables that allow to minimize statistical and theoretical uncertainties. I am mainly looking at the production of weak bosons with jets using MCFM as a tool to make predictions of the PDFs and scale uncertainties. This should ultimately help to increase the discovery potential and sensitivity to New Physics for search channels involving jets, leptons and missing transverse energy at the
LHC.
