Data Taking with Other Lamps
Camera Setup
camera temp = 5 deg
Focus distance = 19.9mm
Camera Angle = 4.6mm
Low Mercury
Exposure 0.2s
Micrometer position 0-12mm in 0.5mm intervals
Changed exposure to 0.3s
Towards edges of the frames, the spectral lines appeared to be a little out of focus in comparison to the centre.
Helium
Exposure = 0.3s
Micrometer position 0-12mm at 0.5mm intervals
High Mercury
Exposure = 0.001s (small as possible)
Increased distance of lamp from optical fibre as images satuated
Some lines still saturated
Micrometer position 0-12mm at 0.5mm intervals
Cadmium
Exposure = 0.5s
frames taken at 0.5mm intervals between 0 and 12mm
