Data Taking with Other Lamps
- Camera Setup
- camera temp = 5 deg
- Focus distance = 19.9mm
- Camera Angle = 4.6mm
- Low Mercury
- Exposure 0.2s
- Micrometer position 0-12mm in 0.5mm intervals
- Changed exposure to 0.3s
- Towards edges of the frames, the spectral lines appeared to be a little out of focus in comparison to the centre.
- Helium
- Exposure = 0.3s
- Micrometer position 0-12mm at 0.5mm intervals
- High Mercury
- Exposure = 0.001s (small as possible)
- Increased distance of lamp from optical fibre as images satuated
- Some lines still saturated
- Micrometer position 0-12mm at 0.5mm intervals
- Cadmium
- Exposure = 0.5s
- frames taken at 0.5mm intervals between 0 and 12mm.
