use DSLR to take white images to look at the natural vignetting effects of the camera, took many exposure times so to get an unsaturated image. Need to process these to get a pixel vs intensity curve to show that the fractional ratio of intensity does not depend on exposure. Also look at different colour channels and create a plot to show all 3 Then set up the telescope so as to record data, fit with sun filters and imaging source camera. Using ICcapture software. Use shadow of the telescope to align, and adjust further with finder scope.set telescope to the west of the sun to see it passing through the window, takes around 1min to fully pass no data recordedUse DSLR to take images of the sun, lowering the exposure times to find an unsaturated image. Use circle finder code to analyse the intensity array across a diameter of the sun.
Attached Text files show the image numbers on the DSLR for varying exposure times ISO=100 for targets of the sun then a white light source evenly lit for investigating the vignetting effect.
